LED Lighting Comes to Pine Plains
At our most recent Workshop Meeting, the Town Board voted to install LED lighting in all street lights. This will save the town approximately $6000/year in electricity bills, thereby paying for the installation after 3 years. It also helps us further qualify to be a Climate Smart Community.
New Town Signs Made by Anthony Silvia
The new signs you see around town were hand-made by Anthony Silvia. He made these at cost, in honor of the town and its people. We are so grateful to be represented by such beautiful work.
EV Charging Station is Online!
Right behind the Bank of Millbrook, thanks to a grant from NYSERDA! Plug in and spend some time in Pine Plains!
Town Receives Greenway Grant
Supervisor Cloud received a $7,200 Greenway Grant for a Comprehensive Plan Review for the town. This will allow us to conduct a number of meetings with townspeople to review the old plan and come up with ideas for revising and updating it. Zoning revision for economic development is a by-product of this work. Watch for information on how to participate!
Durst Presentation in Milan
The Durst Corporation visited Milan on Saturday June, 2nd and gave an updated presentation on the Carvel Development Project. The meeting was filmed by Stan Hirson and can be found on www.pineplainsviews.com Notable were numerous welcome changes to the presentation from the February version.
