Internet Survey- Thank you & Extension

Internet Survey – Thank You & Extension!

Thank you to everyone who completed the survey on internet access in Pine Plains! We’ve received hundreds of responses and the data provided has proven to be extraordinarily helpful as we map our community’s internet needs. We’re extending the deadline to October 15th in the hopes that we can collect responses from anyone who resides in, owns or rents a home, apartment, or business in Pine Plains and who may have missed it previously. If you or someone else at your address has already completed the survey you don’t need to take it again – but please feel free to forward this to anyone in Pine Plains. You can access the survey by clicking here (http://bit.ly/PinePlainsBroadband).

In case you missed the background on why we’re doing this, the Federal Government believes Pine Plains is already well-served by high-speed Internet providers.  We need to collect our own data to make sure their data is correct, and if it is not correct, use data from this survey to work toward improvements in service.  The data you provide on this survey will be kept confidential within the Broadband Advisory Committee and will not be used for any other purpose. If you have any questions, you should email Supervisor Darrah Cloud at supervisor@pineplains-ny.gov.  Again, please complete the survey by October 15, 2020, either online by clicking here (http://bit.ly/PinePlainsBroadband..

Thank you!
