Public Hearing on Preliminary Budget 2022, on October 21st at 7:05, Town Hall #3284 Rt 199, Pine Plains

Legal Notice

Please take notice that the Pine Plains Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on October 21st 2021 at 7:05pm on Preliminary Budget 2022.

All persons desiring to be heard on said Preliminary Budget shall be given an opportunity to do so at said public hearing.

Said hearing will be held at the Pine Plains Town Hall, 3284, Rt.199 Pine Plains N.Y. 12567.

Roast Beef Dinner

A roast beef dinner (take-outs only 4:30-5:30PM) will include roast beef, mashed potatoes, vegetables, roll and dessert will be available for pick up at the Presbyterian Church (3039 Church Street). Tickets ($17): 518-398- 7056. Proceeds are to purchase wreaths for veterans at Evergreen Cemetery on National Wreaths Across America on December 18, 2021 at noon. Sponsored by Wreaths Across America. Co-sponsored by the American Legion and Pine Plains Presbyterian Church.

Please be advised NYS DOT will be cleaning State Roads on April 29 and April 30th.

To all Pine Plains Residents- Please be advised that the New York State Department of Transportation will be sweeping the State Roadways located within our Town tentatively Thursday April 29, 2021 and Friday April 30, 2021. Please do not park along the State roadway during this period of time. The sweeping efforts will occur overnight and into the early morning hours. Although not convenient for those trying to sleep, this is the safest time for the NYSDOT to perform these duties.

Please keep in mind that this sweeping project will target only State roads. Thank you!

 

 

HOMETOWN HEROES BANNER PROGRAM

The Town of Pine Plains, in partnership with the VFW and American Legion Post #426, want to honor and celebrate the men and women who have served our Country through military service with the Hometown Heroes Banner Program.

All service men and women, living or deceased, residing in Pine Plains at the time of their service are eligible for this program.   For more information, please call Alice at the Town Hall: 518-398-8600 X 1 or, email: alice@pineplains-ny.gov.

Town Clerk Office closure

The office of the Town Clerk will be closed on Wednesday,  August 21, 2019.  Normal hours will resume on Thursday.  Thank you.

The Trails Committee, Climate Smart Community Taskforce and the Agricultural Committees are searching for members.  All community-minded individuals are welcome to contact the Town Hall for information.
